Solid Standards
The aim of this project is the application of the new European standards for solid biofuels by the affected market stakeholders. In order to introduce producers, dealers and consumers to the new standards, 35 training sessions on the most important solid biofuels (e.g. wood chips, pellets) are being carried out across Europe. The aim of the training is to impart the knowledge required when introducing sustainability and quality standards to the target groups. In addition, the feedback from all market players regarding the implementability of the stated standards and requirements is collected and forwarded to the responsible standardization bodies.
