This project aims at developing scientifically based designs for low-sloping roofs in wooden structures. These proven designs are to provide optimal moisture protection. To this end, insight gained from fundamental research is developed further, data is acquired in new buildings during extensive monitoring and laboratory trials are conducted. The data obtained serves as the basis for refining and validating the simulations model applied. A design tool (handbook) for designers and contractors is to result from this work.
