Periodicals

  • „HFA Magazine for the wood sector“: It is published quarterly in German. It offers specific information pertaining to the working fields of Holzforschung Austria. Interested people receive the magazine in print or electronic form (pdf) free of charge.

Other publications

  • Technical brochures: Holzforschung Austria publishes technical brochures in German on subjects such as balconies and decks, wooden façades etc.
  • Guidance papers: Holzforschung Austria publishes guidance papers in German on subjects such as requirements pertaining to fire protection in construction, execution of wooden façades, etc.
  • Studies: Holzforschung Austria publishes studies in German on subjects such as decentralized ventilation units, technical drying of fuel wood.
  • Research reports: Holzforschung Austria publishes research reports in German on subjects such as the structural application of oak timber, surface finishes for windows, air- and wind-tightness of building envelopes.
    Among the large number of HFA’s research projects, findings and information can only be made available to the public when all research partners have consented to such a release.
