Analytical chemistry of inorganic materials and analysis of compounds of environmental concern
With the financial support from the prokis04/2 program we enter into news fields of activity in the area of analytical chemistry. The primary focus is placed on compounds which are used as active ingredients in wood preservatives and on heavy metals for which concentration limits have to be met or which are of environmental concern. In order to perform these determinations, HFA is in the process of establishing analytical procedures for inorganic compounds. Analytical measurements are performed using an ICP-instrument (Inductively Coupled Plasma) and as such is an integral part of our work.
