C2B (Carbon to Business)
To achieve climate goals, unavoidable emissions must be offset. This is driving up demand for methods to capture and remove CO₂ from the atmosphere. However, the complex technological, regulatory, and economic conditions create a challenging market environment in which SMEs, in particular, find it difficult to navigate. The ACR-Project “C2B” offers a standardized, practical, and AI-supported method that facilitates the development of appropriate business models. This method is validated using six use cases from the wood, construction, agriculture, and industrial sectors to provide a solid foundation for carbon projects.
The project is funded as part of the ACR Strategic Projects 2026 – Collaborative Laboratory programme
