Development of reference materials for the recording of weather influences
When it comes to weathered wooden components such as windows, facades, balconies, fences etc., regular maintenance of the coating is of crucial importance. A maintenance indicator is to be developed for this purpose which, at the right time, displays a signal for necessary maintenance measures that the user can recognize.
The project deals with the search and development of reference materials for recording weather influences and with the classification of the durability of wood exterior coatings as the basis for a new maintenance concept for wooden components in the outdoor area.
