In the cooperation project, the three Austrian Cooperative Research ACR institutes OFI, HFA and Kachelofenverband built up a unique infrastructure. Numerous production and optimisation tests were carried out in the biomass pilot plant. According to the basic idea of the funding channel COIN, further research orders could be processed during the course of the project. This shows that a powerful research infrastructure for material and energetic biomass processing, technology development, and process optimisation has been created here. With more than 30 publications and the BioUp Fachtag 2015, the research association was successfully introduced to the target groups mentioned.
