GEE.Wood+
In the project GEE.Wood+, TU Graz, Holzforschung Austria and RWT Plus ZT GmbH investigate the overall energy performance, thermal comfort and sustainability of six-storey residential timber buildings. Based on current and upcoming requirements of the EPBD, OIB Guidelines 6 and 7 and the EU Taxonomy, building simulations determine the influence of key design parameters. The results of these simulations and of simplified methods such as the energy performance certificate are compared with data from real buildings. This leads to recommendations for a reliable building assessment in early design stages and to proposals for the further development of guidelines and standards.
